New upgraded carbon plate

Redesigned for faster, easier foil setup with fixed nuts and bolts - just like our composite boards. The plate is now 2 cm longer, giving more standing area for smoother takeoffs, while the closed EVA pad prevents water from entering the plug area.

NOTE ON MAST LENGTH

As the foil passes through the thickness of the board, about 8cm of the length of the mast becomes hidden inside the board. This results in slightly less mast available underneath the board.

Whilst most riders won't really notice this, it is a good idea (when buying a mast at the same time as buying this board) to add 10cm onto its length. For example, if you would have normally bought a 82cm mast for a regular hard board (as most people do), it makes sense to buy a 92cm mast to use on a Starboard Air Foil board. This means that you will still have about 82-84cm of mast length to ride with.
