Featuring Starboard’s patented standing plate - directly mounted to the foil - to position the rider millimetres from the foil for the best possible control and stiffness. The Take Off Air Foil introduces a refined plate with enhanced usability and stability. New slots allow for quicker and easier foil installation, securing nuts and bolts in place similar to composite boards. The plate is now 2 cm longer, expanding the standing area for improved balance and easier takeoffs. Additionally, a redesigned EVA pad eliminates open slots on the deck, preventing water entry into the plug area.

The lightest inflatable construction from Starboard is now available in the Air Foil range. It helps you take off earlier, fly faster and in lighter winds as well as conserve energy with every stroke and pump. Available in 2 types.

NOTE ON MAST LENGTH
As the foil passes through the thickness of the board, about 8cm of the length of the mast becomes hidden inside the board. This results in slightly less mast available underneath the board.
Whilst most riders won't really notice this, it is a good idea (when buying a mast at the same time as buying this board) to add 10cm onto its length. For example, if you would have normally bought a 82cm mast for a regular hard board (as most people do), it makes sense to buy a 92cm mast to use on a Starboard Air Foil board. This means that you will still have about 82-84cm of mast length to ride with.
