A4 Stainless Steel Pop Rivets 4mm (4 pack)
These corrosion-resistant 4mm A4 marine-grade stainless steel pop rivets (also known as blind rivets) can be used outdoors, in wet conditions and in marine environments. They are also resistant to acid and certain chemicals and are widely used in the food industry.
Typically used for dinghy and keelboat mast, boom and tiller fittings, they should be coated with a thin application of Duralac or Tefgel before fitting, to prevent the galvanic corrosion that can occur between dissimilar metals like aluminium and stainless steel, ensuring longevity. NOT suitable for use on carbon spars.

* Please note that these are tough rivets to pop and are best suited to a large, good quality and strong 'lazy tong' riveter as a regular hand riveter (where 2 levers are squeezed together) may prove challenging to pull the rivet to the breaking point of the mandrel.
