ILCA/Laser Daggerboard Friction Pad MK2 - Replacement Pad Only
This is the inner white rubber part only (housing not included).
The ILCA Daggerboard Friction Pad MK2 is screwed to the aft end of the daggerboard casing and provides perfect grip and slip ratio when setting the height of the daggerboard.
This new and improved design enables the rubber friction pad (housed inside the plastic casing) to be replaced when worn to reduce wastage.

These pads are designed to grip the centreboard and will be quite tight on first usage.
Top tips for installing
- Set the friction pad as far back as the fittings will allow
- A light grease such as Vaseline may need to be applied until the pad wears with the board
After it has worn in, the fitting of the pad can be adjusted according to your sailing style.
