Rooster quick release pin to attach the ILCA/Laser Harken vang/kicker system to the tang on the lower mast section. It is easy and quick to release - simply push the button, the pin releases and it pulls out.
A small hole is provided on the side of the tapered handle to allow an optional split ring or piece of thin cord to be attached - to assist removal.
