Important note
By all means put a wet board into a board bag for a short time to transport it home after a session. Then remove it asap to enable the board and bag to fully dry out. Do not store a wet board in any board bag for any significant amount of time as mild-to-severe paint blistering can occur.
*Waste2Wear
Waste2Wear are innovating the textile industry through their use of recycled plastics, transforming them into fabrics such as those used in the Above Foil Board bags. For each meter of fabric at least 10 bottles are recovered and used to make the recycled polyester material with a 90% lower carbon footprint. The bottles are chopped into flakes, washed, melted and extruded into yarns which are then spun into fabric. Each bag uses 30-150 bottles, giving them a second life and reducing environmental impact. The ripstop weaving technology enhances the fabric’s wear and tear resistance.
